Steel I-beams are custom welded to floor plan specifications in Champion's frame jig. In HUD Code homes the frame is an integral part of the floor system.

Sub-floors are built in a jig to insure accuracy and squareness. Champion's floors are all number 2 grade lumber.

The frame and sub-floor are then lagged together. Creating an intergrated floor system.

The floor system is then turned right side up. The process continues with the installation of kitchen and bath fixtures by Champion's skilled plumbers.

Interior walls are installed to floor plan specifications, creating the proper interior room dimensions.
Note the 2 x 6 exterior walls, found in most of Champion's units.

Exterior marriage walls are then installed, completing the framing process.

As the walls are being installed, the ceiling is being produced off line. This allows ample drying time for the finish of the ceiling.

The ceiling is then positioned on to the unit and attached.

At the next station dual glazed windows and the steel door are installed.

Vinyl siding is then applied to the home.

All homes receive a shingled roof.

All cabinets are built in Champion's own cabinet shop by skilled cabinet makers, to exacting specifications.

The cabinets and moldings are installed by Champion's finish carpenters.
